I’m Dr. Kerry Winge

Education

Dr. Winge has over 25 years of clinical expertise treating complex musculoskeletal and global chronic pain conditions with a speciality emphasis in pelvic health. She graduated with a B.S. in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University (Boston, MA), and completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Shenandoah University (Winchester, VA.) She is board certified as a Women’s Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists.

Experience

Dr. Winge holds certifications in Health and Wellness Coaching, and Pilates mat, reformer, and group class instruction, adult and pediatric BLS. She has completed numerous post- graduate education courses including orthopaedic musculoskeletal conditions and treatment, manual therapy, complementary and nutritional medicine, women, men, and pediatric pelvic health, adolescent conditions, pelvic pain and pregnancy, oncology, women’s conditions throughout the lifespan, pharmacology, neurology, diagnostic imaging, and clinical research. Dr. Winge is an active member of the American Board of Physical Therapy and the Section of Pelvic Health.

Meet Kay Helderle, a seasoned Medical Billing Specialist who recently relocated to West Virginia and has been an integral part of Kerry's practice from the outset. With over 25 years of experience in medical billing, credentialing, and practice management, Kay also has a knack for assisting in small practice startups. She is deeply passionate about supporting therapists, enabling them to prioritize patient care, while also ensuring that patients' billing needs are met efficiently. During her leisure time, Kay finds joy in gardening, hiking, and leisurely walks with her beloved dog, Gigi.

Meet Joanne Hines, the welcoming face at Pelvic Health Physical Therapy. With over 30 years of experience in education as both a teacher and principal, Joanne brings a wealth of expertise to her role as receptionist. She is eager to collaborate with Kerry and the team, ensuring that your visits are facilitated with the highest level of care and confidentiality.

Gabrielle Foster 

Gabrielle Foster, an alumna of West Virginia University, holds a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology with a minor in psychology and an emphasis in aquatic therapy. Continuing her academic journey at Pierpont Technical College, she attained her physical therapy assistant degree. With over nine years of clinical experience across various therapeutic environments, Gabrielle found her calling in pelvic health during her own pregnancy journey as a patient. Committed to assisting patients in achieving their personal and therapeutic objectives, she brings dedication and empathy to her practice. Outside the clinic, Gabrielle finds solace in outdoor adventures with her family and exploring local coffee shops.

Dr. Kylie Lawhorne

Meet Kylie, a recent graduate of the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at West Virginia University. Complementing her doctoral degree, she holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Health with a Minor in Human Nutrition and Food Studies from WVU. Kylie's fervor lies in Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy, driven by her firsthand experience of its profound impact on daily life. She eagerly looks forward to understanding your needs and providing assistance tailored to your pelvic floor concerns. Beyond her professional pursuits, Kylie finds joy in teaching group exercise classes, expanding her personal library through avid reading, and cherishing moments with loved ones.

With three decades of experience in academia, Michelle has transitioned into a fulfilling part-time role. Whether she's answering your calls, scheduling appointments, or assisting with modifications like cancellations or date changes, Michelle is committed to meeting your needs with care and efficiency. She values personal connections and aims to contribute positively to your healing journey.
